   I decided to begin the second semester blog with Michael’s topic about the earning money. Of course, I didn’t have a permanent work, but I had some real little works with real money.  So, I want to share with you my experiences.

   I was about 13 years old when my friend’s mom asked me to work in her office. My job was to glue stickers on her production. Oh, I didn’t mention what it was a company:  her company designed caps, plates, clothes, bags and so on with images of Disney characters. If I remember correctly my salary was 150 rubles per an hourJ I worked there two days. 

   When I was 14 I worked two days giving out to people leaflets (it was opening of the restaurant “The floor” in Evropeyskiy). If you think that it is very hard to distribute your leaflets, you are wrong. It was quite funny, and my salary was about 1200 rubles per 8 hours.

   The most impressive work was in the Crocus City Hall. I took part in a performance called “The Gladiator”. There were real fighters, dancers, even a bear and a snake was there! Also, my dad played a role of a referee. Moreover, Nikolay Tsiskaridze took part in that performance. My job was to carry trays with some bread and bottles of wine, walk but-and-ben, take part in an orgy. To tell the truth, I received much more than I had expected about 2500 rubles.

8. Plastic beauty

   I decided to choose one of Liza’s topics, but I am in some doubt to write about surgeon or friendships. I have something to say about both themes. So, it is time to start. 

   What is your attitude to plastic surgery? Do you think that it can really bring changes to your life? Would you turn to plastic surgeons in the future?

    In my opinion, plastic surgery is like a drug. There are lots of examples when after one operation a girl cannot stop and does more and more. In the begging she thought that she needs to make her nose smaller or straighter, then she began to extend her bosom, lips and other parts of her body. Such girls don’t understand that they look like dolls. If they think that plastic beauty is attractive to boys, they are wrong.  By adding something to yourself, I mean implants,you can lose your natural beauty.

   I think I talked mostly about victims of plastic surgery, but it is time to remember about people who have to avail surgeon’s help not because they are addicted of plastic, but they need small changes. I’m talking about people after car accidents, fires and others incidents. Of course, such people want to return their health, beauty and so on. In addition, I understand when a girl (or a boy) does just plastic corrections to improve her (or his)  beauty, but there is a very slim border between such an operation and those that I mentioned earlier.  

   What about real changes? I am assured that plastic can bring some changes: you can become more confident and, as a result, to achieve something more (for example, in your profession). Nevertheless, if you can’t stop doing plastic operations your changes won’t be good. 

   What about me? I don’t want to change anything in my appearance and I hope that there won’t be any occasions.

1. What do you think about holidays like February 23 and March 8? Does your family celebrate them?  As for me, I think that February 23 is not for all men, only for military man.  

2.  Flowers are useful to express your feelings, aren’t they?  Do you think that it isn’t very practical to present flowers (still they fade)?  Boys, have you ever present flowers without cause?  Girls, it is so pleasant to receive them without cause, isn’t it?

3. If it was possible to know your future what would you prefer: to know everything, in spite of the fact, that you can’t change anything or don’t know? 

6.Silly Beliefs

   Thinking about Andy’s topic I understand that for people it is necessary to have their own beliefs which may be strange or silly for others. Why it is necessary? Because beliefs make our life easier and help us to manage with some problems. 

   Instead you asked to write about silly beliefs, I am assured that my silly belief really isn’t silly. Moreover, I read a book called “Secret” that have confirmed my views.  So, I believe that our thoughts can form our reality. For instance, if I am afraid of a public appearance and I convince myself that I will fail, so I will.  

   People’s thoughts are more powerful than they might seem.  I can’t say that they have some magic power, but of course they have something inexplicable that influences our reality.

    I believe that we need to think only in positive way because if we begin to deny something it turns against us. Therefore, it is better to say, “I will pass an exam” instead of “I won’t be overburdened”.

We and out our thoughts are like a magnet, so it is better  for us to try to think carefully about everything. Also, I want to remind the proverb “be afraid of your desires, they can come true”.

Have you ever performed in a play? Are you a good actor? Write about your theater experience.

It was quite hard to choose one theme for blog#5 because all the themes are interesting to write about. As you can see I chose Tim’s topic about a theatre performance.

I enjoyed lots of school plays, but I want to describe my first acquaintance with a big stage.

For my family a theatre is much bigger than just a word. The theatre is a great part of our life. You can be surprised, but I performed at The Bolshoi Theatre at the age of six. Naturally, I did not dance or sing, my task was to be on my knees before somebody and pray for him. My father rehearsed with me at home because I needed to stay on my knees about 20 minutes, and for a little child it was not easy.

 I became so nervous when I decided that I need to be on such a big stage, and lots of people would be in an auditorium. I remember that feeling…it was breathtaking! I Also, I was happy to wear a beautiful dressJ

I cannot say that I am a good actor, just amateur, but my friends often said that I could be an actress. I really like the process of preparing a play, much more I like the feeling when you are standing behind the scene and you need to make a step on the stage just after a minute. It is wonderful!

Would you prefer to raise your children in a big city like Moscow or in some more quiet place like Moscow region or farther?

 It is quite strange to think about my future children because I cannot imagine myself now as a serious mother, or rather I am quite afraid of it. Nevertheless, one day this imagination comes true. 

I have already thought about me children’s education, but never about the city where it would be better to raise them. Of course it depends on where I and my husband will be live. By the way, I cannot exclude the possibility that we will be in the other country.  I think that a big city can offer bigger list of opportunities for life. It is necessary to remember that our future children will have more difficulties, because our world becomes more complex. Sooth to say, people from big cities are more nervous, they live in the other rhythm of life which is called up-tempo, they are just crazy. Maybe it will be better for children’s health to live somewhere with forests, lakes and without exhaust, but it is possible to be healthy even in such city like Moscow (I think the problems with environment are obvious).

To tell the truth, I can’t imagine myself living in a small town just because I used to live in crazy Moscow. It is good to visit Moscow regions or other quite places, but I prefer to raise my children in a big city.
