David, thank you for such interesting English program.
About essays.
My classmates and I was  writing a lot of essays during our preparation for  exams, but those  essays were quite different from yours writing assignments.  I really have enjoyed your tasks: they are both difficult and interesting. I have remembered especially descriptive essay because it was unusual to think out a thesis about someone. Also, I have problems to write mostly about physical description to confirm my thesis statement.
About my progress. I think that I have made the progress with my essays because you always explain in detail every error. I look forward to get ten points for the next essay.
About my goals.
My goals for the next half of semester are to improve my speaking skills ( I understand that it is necessary to talk more on English) and to get a high mark for essay, as I mentioned earlier.
About something interesting.
I like to write blogs every week because it does not take a lot of time but it is good for us. What is more,  I want to mention a moment when we did freewriting and you turned on the music. It was Pink Floyd. Oh, we liked it:)

What is a summer camp for children? I think it is the best place where they can find a lot of friends and get a lot of new experience! Much better if it is а sports camp. I have visited the camp called "Kar'er" for four years and the memories about it are very bright.

The camp program is divided for three parts and each brings a lot of fun, but if you do not love physical exertions this camp is not for you.  On the first week we lived near Yalta. The camp offered us mountain biking, rock climbing, riding a horse, the basics of tourist life. It was very impressive, especially at the first year.

On the second week we lived in the mountains in tents. This week brought me experience in hiking, driving a jeep, rifle shooting. Moreover, there were a lot of games, for example, obstacle course. In the evenings we sat around the campfire and sang songs. The atmosphere was very cool.

The last week we spent the little town called Simeiz. Every day we went to the sea, one day in the Aqua park, also there were diving lessons. In addition, there were a lot of competitions and performances.
If I were under 18, I would return there for the fifth time.

Surprises are always very funny and many of people love them. My friend Borya and I love to organize them.
It was not an ordinary morning three years ago. Our friend Dasha was sleeping while we had already approached her home. It was her name day. We had decided that the best present for her would be her best friends, that is, us. The day before we found a big box and draw a poster. It took a lot of time to climb into the box and moreover it didn't seem too large at that moment.
"open carefully"
I can say that It was very hard to stay in the box and there were something about what we were afraid. Firstly, Dasha could oversleep and we must to stay inside the present box very long. Secondly, we were afraid that she could open the box with a knife or scissors...
It was one of the best moments when she opened her door ( the best because we couldn't wait anymore:) We could not help, but laugh. She was in shock and when she opened the present and saw us she was in "double" shock. Also we had prepared little presents for her.
It was very emotional and funny day!

What is the most important and the most unforgettable for students? It is the initiation in students. The faculty of economics have organized an amazing weekend for us. After our classes on Friday we went by train in the boarding house where undergraduates have already prepared a program of our initiation.
In the first evening we were separated for many groups. Each group was consisted of students and had two senior students. The main idea was to acquaint the strangers and to teach entrust them.
On Saturday there was an extensive program. We began our morning with gymnastics, then there were a lot of interesting games and trials, for example we need to move the entire team through the rope stretched between two trees without touching neither rope nor trees. We have spent on it more than hour, but it was really funny. The next game was a quest game. There were teams of ecologists, terrorists, physicists, squats and each had its own task to do.
In the evening there was an initiation itself. Everywhere were candles, undergraduates wore gowns and the atmosphere was mysterious. We again carried out assignments where we must trust our team. At the end if initiation there was a salute.
I know what it is to be an organizer of such actions, so I can say that it is very hard, but when you feel that everything turned out it is wonderful. And our organizers can be proud of themselves.
I think this event will be remembered for a long time.
